There are some NEW marketplace features this month, check them out!

WARSTUFF marketplace updates

IN OUR CONTINUING quest to make WARSTUFF your #1 marketplace for militaria and war relics, we’ve rolled out a host of service updates focus on enhancing your buying and selling experience. Here’s the low down on the latest set of changes we have implemented.

Help section updated

It’s fair to say our Help section was a little anaemic and finding the answer to your questions wasn’t always easy. Well, we have fixed this and you now have a full Help section detailing all the answers you need to get the most from our marketplace. And if you ask us a question that is not covered there, we’ll go ahead and add a new Help topic.

Seller’s questionnaire excludes War Grave relics

You may have seen in the news recently that there is a growing trade in Eastern Europe and Russia for grave robbing to fuel collectors’ demands for battlefield relics. We do not condone this, and have updated our terms of use and our Sellers questionnaire to exclude the sale of any items acquired from a war grave or protected site.

Transfer eBay feedback only

By popular demand you can now import your feedback rating from eBay to your WARSTUFF account. Previously you could only do this if you were importing your live listings from eBay. However you can now import feedback even when you have no listings on eBay to import.

Improved My WARSTUFF dashboard

We’ve made your My WARSTUFF dashboard much easier to navigate. It’s now much clearer where you need to go to update payment details, addresses, membership level and to manage your buying and selling activity, including managing any offers you have received.

Import features improved

We’ve updated the pages to make it clearer what is required to import from eBay, via RSS or via CSV upload. We have also added a category lookup to help you decide which categories you want to import your items to when you bulk upload via CSV.

Improved Buyer and Seller experience for closing on a sale

Buyers can now mark payment as sent against an item to update the Seller that payment has been made. Where Sellers have selected to send an invoice to a Buyer before Checkout, the Buyer will now only be able to see the invoice when the Seller has sent it.

RSS Category Matching improved

When you import items via RSS, based on keywords we automatically categorise those items to the appropriate selling category. We have updated our keyword lists to improve the accuracy of where items are categorised.

Tidy up across the site

Lots of small improvements all over the site, from better formatted page numbers on search results, to adding a ‘Home’ icon to the main navigation bar, changing the term ‘Fixed Price’ to be ‘Buy It Now’ and adding additional instructions field to the Selling form.
