Description
This German WW2 Luger holster reproduction comes in thick dark brown leather with white stitching.
The hard shell holster comes with two belt loops on the reverse, spare magazine pocket on the side, and a leather pull-up strap for removing the pistol. The lid fastens using a strap and stud, and has a pocket on the underside to hold a take down tool which comes with the holster.
The Luger holster is marked on the back with P08, EGLEUNER GmbH and Waffenamt marking WaA170 and date 1941
Manufactured by E. Gleuner GmbH Bautzen 1941. Bautzen is in Eastern Germany near Dresden.
The P-08 Luger Pistol was the standard sidearm of WW2 Germany with a 4 inch barrel. The Luger remained in production until 1943 when production was stopped in favor of the P38 WALTHER Pistol.
