Die stamped, alloy construction SS cap eagle with a silver wash.
The reverse of the eagle is well marked with the embossed RZM logo within a circular border and the embossed manufactures code, “M1/72”, indicating manufacture by Fritz Zimmermann of Stuttgart. Also marked “SS 499/42”.
The skull is a 1934 SS pattern, die stamped tombac alloy construction skull .
The reverse of the skull is well marked with the embossed RZM logo and the numeral, “52”. The “52” marking is the manufacture numerical code manufactured by Deschler & Sohn of Munich.
